Red Riding Hood
Time Out says
Stratford’s delayed 2020 panto is back on track
Another panto that was supposed to happen in 2020 and will now – touch wood – take place in 2021, ‘Red Riding Hood’ at one point had the legendary Bryony Lavery attached as writer and lyricist, though she seems to have fallen by the wayside, perhaps as a result of said delay. It’ll instead be penned by Carl Miller, with the panto’s longterm composer Robert Hyman on tunes, and Robert Shaw Cameron directing. As is often the case, Stratford’s Christmas extravaganza isn’t afraid to make a slight detour from the usual panto plots, with ‘Red Riding Hood’ a relative rarity as a seasonal story.
