This amateur production of Jonathan Larson's perennially (if, to some, inexplicably) popular 1990s version of La Boheme features bona fide West End performer Sabrina Aloueche as Maureen, alongside new musical theatre graduates. They're all, apparently, working for free – which wouldn't ordinarily be something to celebrate, but a gala performance on Sunday 28th October in aid of the National Aids Trust is an admirable idea.
