Shakespeare's Globe's touring productions of ‘As You Like It’, ‘The Tempest’ and (maybe) ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ are coming home to the wooden 'O' this summer. There's a mix of conventional performance and ‘audience choice’ shows, where the crowd vote on which play they want to see – which also represent London’s only chance to see this ‘Dream’, which is otherwise a ‘tour exclusive’ so as not to clash with the ‘main’ production of the magical comedy running this summer. As ever, the highlight of the season is the 'Midnight Matinee' audience choice, starting at 11.59pm, where (presumably drunken) audiences will pick what show they want to see at a special late-night performance.
