Simon Drake's House of Magic
Tucked away down a residential street, Simon Drake's House of Magic lies in wait. It looks like a disused pub, and it is in a sense, but inside, it's a veritable lair of magic. Simon Drake – star of Channel 4's 'The Secret Cabaret' – has decked the place out in red velvet curtains, mismatched wallpaper and mood lighting. Creepy props sit among decadent furnishings, where you can sit and get your fortune told, try out the 'whispering chair' and tour the Haunted Cellar, as well as, of course, witnessing Drake's 45-minute 'Magical Extravaganza'.

When Simon Drake disappeared from the public eye, he merely took his creepy style of magic off the TV and instead took to performing more intimate shows to a select few in an old mansion in South London, and has been ever since. The venue is incredibly well themed and you are given a tour as part of the experience. As both his home and secret magical lair, it is difficult to compare this to any similar experiences as none exist. Tickets aren't cheap, and sometimes are only available as a full package including food, but all include his show and are well worth the asking price. To any fans of magic and general creepiness then this is the real deal in terms of an authentic immersive experience. So if tickets to watch a master magician perform his full gory repertoire in his own humble haunted house sound like your thing, then you better get booking! You certainly won't be disappointed!

What an AMAZING night out! Incredible venue. An Enchanted Garden and haunted mansion so awe inspiring, you have to see it to believe it. The show by Simon Drake is outstanding. I loved every single minute of it. Please go, you won't regret it.
