Sing Street

The latest beneficiary of the ‘charming indie film to stage musical’ pipeline, Sing Street is based on the 2016 coming of age movie about Conor, a young man who forms a band in ’80s Dublin. Originally written by its director John Carney, it comes to the stage in a version by Enda Walsh (who did the honours with the Carney’s not dissimilar Once) and directed by Rebecca Taichman, it retains all of Carney and Gary Clarke’s original tunes.
