Ovalhouse celebrates its half century with 'Counterculture 50', a collection of five new pieces of work, each dealing with a different decade and a different facet of counter-cultural experimentation from the theatre's 50-year history. First up, director Thomas Hescott takes the '60s, and the changes in gay underground culture following the CofE's support for decriminilisation of homosexuality.
