The follow up to Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada’s hit solo show The Horse of Jenin, newie The Bridge – written in collaboration with its director Sam Beale – details his aburd, sad annual pilgrimage to take a container of olive oil from his mum in Jenin in the West Bank to his aunt in Amman in Jordan. It debut at this summer’s Edinburgh Fringe to fine reviews.
