After an Off-Broadway run in 2010, this chamber musical is having its European premiere at the Park Theatre. It's set in '60s West Virginia, where a gaggle of teenagers struggle to come to adjust to the aftermath of a mining disaster. Two brothers set off to the pit where their father died, their journey soundtracked with a bluegrass and pop score.
Matthew Illife directs this new(ish) musical by Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, whose 'Tuck Everlasting' was recently produced on Broadway.
