The Dead Monkey

Theatre, Fringe

Nick Darke's black comedy is set in California where Dolores and Hank's failing American marriage is the prism through which modern life is seen. The hefty, predictable slog of married life takes its toll on the couple who seem to have found that there's a monkey, literally, on their shoulders. The piece has been performed throughout the world since its premiere in 1986 and is here staged by Hannah Price.
