Time Out says

Japanese company Chiten Theatre return to the Coronet Theatre with a stage adaptation of Dostoyevsky’s relatuvely obscure novella The Gambler, which follows Alexis, a tutor to the children of a gambling-addicted family. It’s based on the great novelist’s own experience of gambling addiction. Directed by Motoi Miura, with the text apparently a straight up Japanese tranalation of the orginal (with English surtitles), the show will feature a live score from the band kukangendai.
