The Griot's Tale

Inspired by African mysticism, composer Tunde Jegede's new piece is about a young man's journey into the unexpected. Yoruba chant and movement, cinematic visual imagery and African and western classical music all feature in this ancient tale of love, wisdom, kinship and sacrifice.
