This double bill celebrates of theatre's first knight and general stage legend Sir Henry Irving. Writer Andrew Shepherd adapts 'The Bells', the play that made Irving's name, as well as penning an homage to the actor in new piece 'The Knight from Nowhere'. In it Irving turns up dressed for the wrong play, realises he's dead and facing his final judgement in a whirlwind featuring Hamlet, Ophelia, Shylock, Ellen Terry, Bram Stoker and George Bernard Shaw. A must for any Irving fan and probably a giggle for any fan of theatre.
