This musical two-hander is inspired by Robert Tressell's much-loved socialist tome, 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists'. Frank Owen, an artist, tries in vein to convince his fellow house painters that they shouldn't trust their 'betters', whatever a capitalist society tells them. With right-wing politics in full bloom this feisty play is bound to strike a cord with some.
