This poetic puppet show is based on Wendy Cope's 'The River Girl'. It's the story of Isis, who falls in love with a human, and begs Father Thames to free her from the river. As she flounders through her love story, Cope explores ideas of romance and loss with a feminist slant. Staged by Puppet Theatre Barge, ages 12-plus.
