The Rover

The Baroque apartments of Hampton Court Palace are the suitably decadent setting for this promenade performance of Aphra Behn's Restoration comedy about pleasure and danger, in which a rakish English captain runs up against a proud courtesan in Naples at carnival time. Former Jerwood Directors Award-winner Amy Hodge directs a 28-person cast to coincide with palace exhibition 'The Wild, the Beautiful and the Damned'.
