James Phillip's Cold War-era drama is inspired by the story of the Rosenbergs, and follows a Jewish couple who are persecuted for their Communist beliefs in a paranoid America. After productions at Hampstead Theatre in 2005, and Nottingham Playhouse in 2015, 'The Rubenstein Kiss' is getting its first London revival at Southwark Playhouse, in a production directed by Joe Harmston.
