Legendary New York experimentalists The Wooster Group don’t make it to London very often, so when they do, you should pay attention. Nayatt School Redux isn’t exactly a revival of the company’s 1978 work Nayatt School; rather, it’s a reworking introduced by founder Wooster Group member Kate Valk that mixes archive footage of its original performance by the great monologist Spalding Gray – his breakthrough performance – with recreations and reflections on scenes from it. Directed by Elizabth LeCompte, expect quite a trip.
