A semi-staged performance of Gilbert & Sullivan's 'The Yeomen of the Guard' directed by Martin Duncan. With baritone Leigh Melrose (Lt Sir Richard Cholmondeley), tenor Andrew Kennedy (Colonel Fairfax), soprano Lisa Milne (Elsie Maynard), mezzo-soprano Victoria Simmonds (Heather Shipp), mezzo-soprano Felicity Palmer (Dame Carruthers), soprano Mary Bevan (Kate), bass-baritone Mark Richardson (Sergeant Meryll), tenor Tom Randle (Leonard Meryll), baritone Mark Stone (Jack Point), baritone Toby Stafford-Allen (Wilfred Shadbolt), Jonathan McGovern (first Yeoman), and Marcus Farnsworth (second Yeoman), the BBC Singers and BBC Concert Orchestra under Jane Glover.
