Playwright Barney Norris's breakout hit 'Visitors' premiered at Arcola Theatre in 2014; since then, he's released a couple of novels and had a mainstage show at Bridge Theatre. 'We Started to Sing' marks his return to Arcola, and like several of his previous works it centres on a rural family. Inspired by his own upbringing, it shows a family whose members move further and further apart over the course of three decades.
