The King of France is getting a very long-necked new pet, a gift from the Pasha of Egypt. But how does Zeraffa the giraffe feel about her new home? Playwright Sabrina Mahfouz adapts Dianne Hofmeyr's book, which follows the giraffe as sails up the Nile with her young human companion Atir. It's staged using puppetry and music, in a moving look at friendship and what it's like to feel different. Ages four to eight.
