A Child of the Jago

Jenny Rossiter presents a walk based around Arthur Morrison's 1896 novel ‘A Child of the Jago’ and its influence on the creation of social housing in London. The novel highlighted the terrible lives of children living in London's slums. The walk takes you through the early social housing that replaced the slums as well as discussing the novel.
