The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council was established in 1833 to hear appeals formerly heard by the King in Council. It remains the highest court of appeal for several independent Commonwealth countries and in some UK court cases. This exhibition at the Supreme Court presents some of the JCPC's most interesting and important case studies, as well as its previous and current links with many countries around the globe. The exhibition is free.
