A Haberdashery Shop on London Bridge: Journal of a Georgian Gentleman

In this free Gresham College event, historian Mike Rendell relates the fascinating story of an eighteenth-century haberdasher who meticulously recorded his daily life and activities in a journal as well as keeping newspaper cuttings and various ephemera, and collecting everything from shells to sermons. Doors open half an hour before the event.
