A Scientific Portrait of Old Age

The Wellcome Collection host this age-themed afternoon of conversation between Nobel Laureate Professor Elizabeth Blackburn, Baroness Sally Greengross and Professor Sophie Scott. The panel will shed some light on the human ageing process, and explain how science can inform us about why we age, factors that influence our lifespan and how demographic changes that come with longevity will in turn transform our society. A drinks reception will follow the event between 5pm-6pm.
