Listen to space debris as it passes over the Science Museum with Machine 9 - an electromechanical sound instrument created by composer and sound artist, Nick Ryan, that transforms the movement of 27,000 tracked pieces of space debris into sound, in real time. Part of Adrift, a new arts and science project revealing the extent of space debris orbiting Earth, the machine is on public dispay at the museum for the first time.
