As part of the Alchemy Festival, a day of events dedicated to the people, politics and poetry of Afghanistan. Ahmed Rashid discusses the complexities of the politics in the region with novelist Kamila Shamsie, Felix Kuehn, who has been reporting on Afghanistan for the last five years, discusses his anthology 'Poetry of the Taliban'. The day also includes a screening of the short film 'Skateistan' and a discussion of the work of the Kabul-based Afghan NGO of the same name, which uses skateboarding as a way to engage with young people.
