Africa Calling is hunting down the very best of Africa's design talent and bringing to over to our rainy isle to be admired. This showcase at the Southbank Centre's Africa Utopia festival will focus of contemporary creatives from 'The Southern Tip' and the UK, and features vibrant knitwear, nature-inspired wallpaper and recycled plastic lights. Drop-in recycled design workshops run by South African designer Heath Nash will run throughout the weekend. The event is free and can be found in the foyer of the Royal Festival Hall. Africa Calling's showcase will also be on display at DesignJunction from September 18-21.
