The once effectively banned cult action film, 'The Spook Who Sat by the Door' (USA 1973; Dir Ivan Dixon), in which CIA operative Dan Freeman returns to Chicago and prepares his brothers for revolution. This rarity screens with a new contextualising documentary, 'Infiltrating Hollywood – The Rise and Fall of The Spook Who Sat by the Door' (USA 2011; Dir Christine Acham & Clifford Ward). Margaret Busby introduces the film and joins Cindy So-So in conversation after the screening. A screening of 'Cointelpro' (2011; Produced by the Freedom Archives) takes place at 11.30am (free to ticket holders).
