What a wonderful, dainty looking exhibition displayed at The Horse Hospital. I'll tell you firstly that it won't be an easy exhibition to locate. It's almost hidden in a dark tunnelled building.

I am so glad that I found out about this. I was completely oblivious regarding the exhibition and also the Horse Hospital. What a treat.

It was so worth while, as I am a huge fan of Lewis Carroll's books. His stories are a complete adventure.

The entrance to the Horse Hospital really does make you feel like you've just dropped into Alice's underground adventures. The more you walk inside, the smaller the room becomes.

You'll find a diverse range of paintings, collages and immaculate pieces of artwork hung around this room. This room has a cellar type feeling, very cold.

Some of the art pieces were available to buy and you can frame them yourself.

There were several paintings that I loved for its detail, its colour, its shapes, and for the collage. It is a diverse collection of art that demonstrate fantastic skills and it makes a statement on any wall. It's different and it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I love it.

You'll find artwork by the following artists Miadana, John Coulthart, Greg Lindsay-Smith, Civilized Punk, Christiaan Nagel, and Alexander Korzer-Robinson. All individually unique for its design and aesthetic.

It's a small space with huge amounts of creativity that you'll find inspirational for sure.

Some of the pieces will have to be ordered through the artists website or email. The lovely people there will gladly help for all your adventurous needs.

What are you waiting for to go?

It's absolutely free. Enjoy.

Love MD.

The Horse Hospital is a great venue for this type of cross-cultural event. This was extremely well organised with great contributions from artists such as John Coulthart and other exhibitors such as The Psychedelic Museum. The panel covered a lot of ground on myths around Lewis Carroll; why the 'Alice' stories resonated in the mid-sixties, links to the Beatles, aspects of counter-culture and why Alice remains a constantly evolving story particularly with new technologies.

The art exhibition will be open until Sunday and I will be going again to look at everything at a leisurely pace because there was so much to take in at one time.
