The London Transport Museum's 1898 Metropolitan steam Locomotive No.1 and Jubilee Carriage 353 are put back into service for a weekend to journey along the Metropolitan Line out in the suburbs between Amersham and Harrow-On-The-Hill. Visitors to Amersham on Sunday will also be able to enjoy the Amersham Old Town Heritage Day, where there will be guided tours, mini Metro-land model making classes and free entry to the Amersham Museum for steam train ticket holders. A few tickets will be available at Amersham station from 11am, but advanced booking is advised. It's also worth noting that under-11s are not allowed to ride the Jubilee Carriage 353.
