Time Out says

Tying in with the upcoming BBC2 series 'Super Senses: The Secret Power of Animals', presenters Helen Czerski and Patrick Ayree will talk about the process of filming the series, which explores how humans are starting to learn from the extraordinary sensing mechanisms of animals. Engineers are utilising the techniques that enable snakes to see in infrared and moths to track incredibly faint scent trails to build new materials and find solutions to long-standing problems. UCL research fellow Helen Czerski will talk about her experiences and discoveries during filming (including the occasion on which she waded into a swamp full of alligators). Then UCL engineers will share information some of their animal-inspired research projects, followed by a discussion of where this might lead in the future. This free event will end in a drinks reception and a private view of the museum.
