[title]
This fantastic new festival at the Southbank Centre profiles artists aged 65 and over from a wide variety of fields. A week-long programme of events will include a performance from jazz singer Dame Cleo Laine, conversational panels with children's author Judith Kerr and the father of reggae poetry Linton Kwesi Johnson, drag from trailblazer Lavinia Co-op, and a reading from poet-playwright Tony Harrison. Numerous other workshops, panels and performances will explore the issues facing older artists while challenging the idea that creatitivity fades with age. Find out more here.
