Time Out says

You can score a half-decent brunch in pretty much every borough in the city these days, but how many plates of smashed avo on toast are accompanied by a string quartet? At Bachn & Eggs, you can nurse your hangover with a dose of Debussy and a mimosa in hand with their Sunday brunch in the old railway arches at Underdog Gallery. It's free entry (with a suggested donation of £8 for the performers) but you'll have to fork out for your Eggs Benedict. Find out more here

One exciting event which is currently underway at the Underdog Gallery is a project titled BACHN & EGGS which is a series of  monthly classical brunches held on Sundays in the Gallery. This innovative project is the brainchild from Olivia Jageurs who is an incredibly talented professional UK harpists who has created this platform for various performers and musicians to come together (and accompany her) to provide a fabulous concert as people enjoy Sunday brunch! This is one of various projects around London promoting classical music in non-classical setting which makes it accessible to all people.

Underdog gallery put on a great brunch, avo on toast is their classic which is consistently good, along with great coffee. The gallery is an ideal setting to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful concerts that Olivia has so carefully curated. Each performance varies and can include poetry, sopranos, acting and musical soloists along with interesting takes on contemporary music from Olivia. It is an extremely relaxing environment and there are few better ways to start your Sunday. In addition, the concert itself is free of charge however there is a recommended donation and anyone who has experienced the concert would struggle to argue that the donation is not more than worthy!

Best thing on a Sunday morning, get your breakfast out of the way and start the day with beautiful music all in one sitting.

Best thing to do on a Sunday in London! Beautiful music, amazing coffee, avocado toast and surrounded by art. Perfect.

Olivia, the wonderfully talented harpist who runs these brunches, always puts together an exciting and eclectic set, with collaborations with some of the most talented musicians and actors around. From Brahms to Bieber and Schubert to Shakespeare, it always promises to be an excellent and entertaining programme. Highly recommend!

Fantastic way to spend a Sunday morning - superb classical music performed by the brightest young stars and delicious iced coffee!
