The Institute of Ideas' annual weekend of debates about contemporary issues is a war of words waged by hundreds of speakers from the worlds of politics, business, media and academia –this year taking place for the first time at the Barbican. This year's contributers are being asked to loosely discuss the case for freedom. Speakers include cultural philosopher and director of the Nexus Institute Rob Riemen, professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo Thomas Hylland Eriksen and commentator and activist Dr Albena Azmanova.
