Inspired by the William Morris quote, “have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful" this market plans to make everything in your house come alive. Hopefully, not in a creepy way. The Beautiful & Useful Craft Fair returns to the Garden Museum this December, gathering design-makers for a unique Christmas shopping experience.The carefully curated collection of artists, designers, and makers, now in its fifth year, will feature things like repurposed cork vases, ceramics, lino-printed textile products, and one-of-a-kind art deco jewellery. Alongside the stalls there will also be food provided by Garden Café serving seasonal lunch, drinks and freshly-baked treats. To top it off this event will also include an exhibition exploring Lucian Freud’s paintings of plants and gardens for an optional ticket upgrade on the day.
