Some dishes go the extra mile. They’re packed with flavour, they look darn good and they’re bringing that extra somethin’ somethin’ we’re calling ‘Big Dish Energy’. These are the dishes that may have made a restaurant famous. They may be unique and experimental, or just perfectly executed. Whatever it is that makes them special, you can taste it for yourself at Time Out’s foodie extravaganza.
This massive one-day celebration will bring together iconic dishes from six top London restaurants (all available to order on Uber Eats) with music and drinks in a perfect summer setting. Entry lets you try all the hyped dishes with each dish curated especially for the event by our trusted food editor, Leonie Cooper.
The menu includes:
Truffle hash browns from Eggslut: Kick things off with these golden, crunchy pillows of goodness, made in duck fat with truffle and rosemary salt.
Margherita Genuina from Zia Lucia: Every truly great party involves pizza. And this one by Zia Lucia – with vegetable charcoal dough topped with Fiordilatte, tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes and housemade basil pesto – is a real winner.
Hot halloumi fries from Smashing Plates: The signature halloumi fries from this beloved Greek restaurant are the perfect savoury-sweet combo; think crispy Cypriot halloumi fries drizzled with hot honey, topped with black sesame seeds.
Lamb Karahi from Lahore Karahi: This Pakistani curry house in Tooting has a cult following for a reason – and its signature lamb dish is an absolute must-try.
Hong Kong French toast from HOKO: We’re obsessed with this sweet authentic Hong Kong dessert dish. It’s French toast with a twist; there’s peanut butter, golden syrup, butter and condensed milk.
Acai bowl from Portobello Juice: Keep things fresh and fruity with this zingy bowl from the folk at Portobello Juice, made with organic Brazilian açai berry and layered with organic, gluten free RollaGranola and banana, strawberry and more.
