Now that we’ve seen the sun, the urge to rush out and set up a picnic in the nearest green space is overwhelming. But hold on a minute! Wouldn’t that picnic be even better if absolutely everything was edible? At this Book Club event, hosted by The Robin Collective, it is. Only, because we just can’t trust that flaky old sun to show up, it’s an indoor picnic, at which you can build your own edible garden. The soil, insects and flowers will all be fit to eat. Pre-recorded birdsong and a fresh ‘garden scent’ are guaranteed, and picnickers are encouraged to dress up in garden-themed finery.
