The Walthamstow public space that's devoted to making and mending is a year old in February this year, and they're celebrating with an evening of music, booze and huge open flames. Boom La Tete will provide gypsy swing and rock 'n' roll to get the workshop warmed up, while the bar will be pouring speciality beer from Left Bank Brewery. The open flame comes courtesy of Walthamstow's biggest birthday candle, which will have been constructed earlier that day at the Blackhorse Market.
