BMX Supercross World Cup

One of the four ticketed London 2012 test events taking place over the summer of 2011, the BMX Supercross World Cup will be the second event to take place at the Olympic Park in Stratford. The showpiece, which is part of the BMX World Cup Series, road tests the new, 450m Olympic BMX track. Elite riders, led by Latvia's world number one Maris Strombergs, will tackle the track's jumps, bumps and tightly banked corners. The GB rider to watch is 22-year-old Liam Phillips, many experts' tip for 2012 stardom.
