Time Out says
Our Rugby World Cup result has put rather a dampener on England's sporting hopes for 2015, so what we need is a fresh start. A new challenge. A competition that calls on a habit we're already fond of. Step forward, Beer Pong! A drinking game that involves just enough physical ability to pass as a sport. This tournament will see 64 teams of two players compete to be crowned Brit Pong champions by bouncing ping pong balls into their opponents' cups (read more about the rules on the Brit Pong website if you've no idea what we're on about). The winners will get a cool £5,000 cash and the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas to represent the UK in the World Series of Beer Pong. Entry costs £25 per person and includes food, t-shirts, rulebooks and enough beer to play (which isn't very much – they don't want to cause any injuries). Those who would rather watch than pong can do so for free by claiming a spectator ticket ahead of the event.
