Time Out says

Mentioning the National Trust conjures up images of country manors and cream teas, it’s not normally associated with concrete and social housing – but that might be about to change. Following last years pop-up opening of Flat 130 in the Balfron Tower the trust are continuing to celebrate the significance of Brutalist architecture with a ten day series of tours across the UK. In London they have joined forces with the Southbank Centre, parts of which are soon closing for a two-year refurbishment programme, to give visitors an extensive behind the scenes experience. The tours, which last about 90 minutes, will move through underground tunnels, onto stages, into ventilation rooms and above performance spaces. Tickets for these are available online now and will take place hourly from 10am-7pm. There are also two opportunities to clamber aboard the National Trust's 1962 routemaster coach for a full day exploration of Brutalist London. Tours will begin at Southbank Centre and include the Lansbury Estate, the Barbican Estate, the Alexandra Road Estate and conclude at Ernö Goldfinger’s Trellick Tower (Saturday September 26 and Saturday October 3. 10.30am- 4.30pm).
