Celebrate Buddha's birthday with a weekend street party at Leicester Square Gardens and London Fo Guang Shan Temple. Events on Saturday include a parade (12.30pm), traditional performances, baby blessing and a tea ceremony demonstration (2.30pm). The temple open day on Sunday kicks off with a Buddha Birthday Service, a vegetarian food fair and performances. A temple tour takes place at 1pm and those staying until 4.30pm can witness the evening chanting service.
