But Who Knows the East End? An Exploration with Alan Gilbey

This walk with a difference sees BAFTA award-winning screenwriter and lifelong East Ender Alan Gilbey, plus assorted fellow writers and performers, lead an East End journey in the footsteps of Victorian writer and journalist Arthur Morrison. The event – billed as 'part oral history event, part site-specific performance' – coincides with Gilbey's new book, East End Backpassages: An Explorer's Guide, and offers a reworking of a lively, immersive experience which sold out in the Spitalfields Summer Festival.
