Time Out says

A collab for the ages: Celestial Peach, a platform created by Jenny Lau dedicated to exploring Chinese food culture, identity and diaspora stories, and Fragrant Knives have come together for this evening, celebrating the craft and culture of Chinese home cooking, focusing on the tool that makes it all happen – the Chinese Chef’s Knife. Get schooled in how to use knives to do it all in the kitchen, from slicing and smashing to dicing and scooping, all while getting an understanding of the rhythm and philosophy of Chinese cooking.

The workshop will cover the essentials of knife handling, as well as teaching guests how to make two regional dishes, Dongbei noodles and chrysanthemum tofu soup. The evening will finish with a shared meal. Each ticket includes a luxury Fragrant Knives Chinese Chef’s Knife to take home, designed in Hong Kong and crafted in Yangjiang, the capital of Chinese blade-making since the Tang dynasty.
