As part of the alternative garden festival 'Chelsea Fringe', the Geffrye Museum will be hosting two events inspired by outdoor oasis'. 'Music to Grow Your Garden By' is a free performance by the Moving Chamber Choir which will take place overlooking the museum's period gardens. Expect a mix of madigrals, part-songs and modern favourites. The second event, 'Culpeper's Herbal Remedy' will see garden historian Margaret Willes give a talk on the life of herbalist, botanist and radical apothecary Nicholas Culceper followed by a workshop where guests can create their own historical remedies and natural cosmetics.
