Chelsea Physic Garden Open Weekend

For one glorious weekend, Chelsea Physic Garden is waiving its usual admission fees for a special get-together for plant-lovers of all ages. Part of Chelsea History Festival, this open weekend is full of chances to learn how apothecaries and herbalists used plants in centuries gone by. Historical characters will share tales of how they've used leafy ingredients in ointments and healing tinctures. There'll also be lots of opportunities to get hands on with nature, including pond-dipping, storytelling and craft activities throughout the day.
