Bringing a dose of current Chinese culture to the Southbank, China Changing Festival showcases artists practising in the country and inspiring work from British based Chinese and South East Asian makers. Highlights include Wen Hui's ‘RED’, a docu-drama exploring famous Chinese ballet, Michelle Yim's one-woman show telling the extraordinary true story of Princess Der Ling, stand-up from comedia Ken Cheng and talks including ‘The Rise of China's Feminist Resistance’ and ’Chinese Sci-Fi’. The festival culminates with ‘Cloud Show’, an experimental fashion show led by Academy Award-winning costume designer and art director Tim Yip (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon).
