As the Year of the Sheep kicks off, over-18s are invited to spend an evening at the Horniman Museum to celebrate Chinese New Year with heaps of contemporary and traditional culture. A secret gallery of work by Aowen Jin can be discovered with the help of a UV torch, see a Western-influenced version of Chinese ribbon dance, enjoy live music performances on both traditional and electronic instruments and plenty more art and exhibits besides. Cocktail bars will be serving all evening and there'll be a Chinese menu in the Horniman Café and street food on the Conservatory terrace. Book in advance on the Horniman's website.
