There’s always something faintly Christmassy about Leadenhall Market, thanks to its Victorian architecture. But it really comes into its own when the festive season arrives, and a collection of twinkling lights and pretty Christmas trees return to the shopping arcade. This year, as well as the annual towering 26ft Christmas tree, the market will also be home to a festive light tunnel that will stretch through Beehive Passage, all illuminated with Victorian-style lights.
Head to the big switch-on of the display at 6pm on November 19, for live music and a flurry of snow.
In 2026, additional pop-up markets offer an added incentive to visit. SoLo Craft Fair Christmas Market will happen on two Saturdays (Nov 14 and Dec 12), offering handmade delights aplenty from over 100 different designers and makers, with a free workshop from 12-3pm in the Beehive Passage.
