Funfair rides, performances, fitness sessions and creative workshops will descend on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a weekend of festive frolicking this winter. Highlights include carol singing around the Christmas tree and a visit from Santa and his reindeer who've landed on top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit. The Floating Cinema will be providing water-themed workshops in the London Aquatic Centre, and the Skewbald Theatre will bring together storytelling, music, dance and puppetry for a spellbinding performance called 'Fairytales After Dark' (tickets have now sold out for this). If pre-Christmas eating and drinking has already started to take its toll, fitness sessions including 'North Pole Nordic Walking', 'Sleigh Bells Ring Bootcamp' and a fancy dress 5k run have been planned- perfect for working off that extra mince pie.
